In Old man Mozz's prediction, Kit muses about his father retiring. He goes to the local tea room, where his girlfriend Manju works, then Savarna walks in. Then Jampa arrives, but as he is about to leave, Savarna calls him out and reminds him of the mark she left on him 19 years earlier after he murdered her family, stole their ship, and left her to die in the water.
